The Charles Fink Memorial Award

The River Valley Education Foundation is happy to announce the addition of the Charles Fink Memorial Award, which will be available beginning in the 2020-2021 academic year. Charles LeRoy Fink, a 1955 Saltsburg graduate, passed away on April 25, 2020. Mr. Fink served his country as an Army Arms Supply Clerk, and was respected by those who knew him best for his work ethic and his handyman skill. He worked as a service tech for Meadowbrook Dairy and Cherry Burrell and is said to have been able to fix just about anything.

Thanks to a generous contribution from his daughter, Mrs. Beth (Fink) Seymour and his close friend and 1955 Saltsburg classmate Mr. William Corbett, his memory will live on through a memorial award which will honor students interested in the trades or a career in industry. Information about the award and how students can apply will be forthcoming.

Individuals who wish to contribute to this fund are asked to contact the foundation, or send a donation with notation indicating the funds to be directed to the Charles Fink Memorial Award.
