Mr. Geoffrey Dixon - President
Mr. Dixon is an English teacher at River Valley HS. He is also assistant Athletic Director and a Track and Field coach. His two children, Sydney and Jackson currently attend Saltsburg Elementary. Mr. Dixon is a graduate of Westminster College.
Mr. Justin Kulik - Vice President
Mr. Kulik is a Health and Physical Education teacher at River Valley High School. Mr. Kulik and his wife Keri have 4 daughters. In addition to his role as a teacher, he is the district's Strength and Conditioning coach. He is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Jennifer Surratt - Secretary
Mrs. Surratt is a third grade instructor at SES, where she has taught for 10+ years. Mrs. Surratt is a graduate of Saltsburg High School and of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has three children; Noah, Henry and Natalie - who all attend the River Valley Schools.
Mr. Michael Funyak
Mr. Funyak is an Industrial Arts & Technologies instructor at River Valley. A graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Funyak had been teaching in the district for 20+ years. He and his wife Holly, and their two daughters, Michaela and Gabby are River Valley School District residents.

Mr. Mitchel Yard
Mr. Yard is a SHS graduate who currently resides in the Saltsburg area. He is a professional photographer who runs his own business in Saltsburg, PA. He is also an assistant baseball coach at RVHS.
Mr. Bryce Zimmerman
Mr. Zimmerman is a SHS graduate who currently resides in Wintersville, Ohio. Bryce studied at Kent State University, where he majored in Physics, and he is now employed by the Seegrid Corporation, specializing in Autonomous Mobile Robots.
Mrs. Tracy Richards
Mrs. Richards has worked in Saltsburg as a Biology teacher and now as school Principal for 20+ years. She currently serves as the Saltsburg Elementary Principal. Her two children, Steven and Kassidy are Saltsburg High School graduates.
Ms. Tori Rudy
Ms. Rudy is a Saltsburg High School graduate, as well as a graduate of Duquesne University's School of Pharmacy. She is currently employed as a Pharmacist at Giant Eagle.
Mr. Chris Buell
Mr. Buell is a founding partner in the Indiana, PA law firm of Haberl, Buell and Rice. He is a graduate of Penn State University and the University of Pittsburgh Law School. He is a lifetime Saltsburg resident, and his children, Nolan and Margaret, attend SES.
Mr. Tim Frassenei
Mr. Frassenei has been teaching at Saltsburg Elementary for 20+ years. He has served as Football and Golf coach. Both of Mr. Frassenei's children, Ashley and Tyler graduated from Saltsburg High School.
Mr. Joseph Sembrat
Mr. Sembrat is a graduate of Penn State University and of Clarion University of PA. Mr. Sembrat teaches history at River Valey High School.. During his time in our district, he has led student travel groups to Rome, Barcelona and Paris. Mr. Sembrat and his wife, Gaby live in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Rob Jorgenson
Mr. Jorgenson, a Saltsburg graduate, is a local business owner. A Grove City College graduate, he and his wife, Angie - a Saltsburg Elementary Instructor - live in the Clarksburg area. Their son, Burk and daughter, Rachel, are Saltsburg High School Graduates.
Mr. Steve Shannon
Mr. Shannon is a graduate of Saltsburg High School and of Duquesne University. He and his wife, Brittany, along with their daughters Harper and Avery live in Blairsville. Mr. Shannon is a second grade teacher at Blairsville Elementary.
Mrs. Samantha Johnson Glass
Mrs. Glass is a graduate of Blairsville High School and of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She holds teaching certificates in Secondary Math Education, Special Education and ESL. Currently, she is the Cyber Education facilitator at River Valley. She is a resident of the Blairsville area and co-owner of Blairsville Tire Corral.
Mr. Albert Dettorre
Mr.Dettorre is a former district educator and coach of over 35 years. In retirement, he still volunteers on the RV football staff, serves as a PIAA Basketball official, volunteers for the Blairsville Fire Dept, and serves on Blairsville Boro council.
Mrs. Kristy Shannon
Ms. Shannon and her husband Dr. Pat Shannon, are Blairsville area residents. Kristy is a Physical Therapist, and is currently the manager at the NovaCare Clinic in Saltsburg. Their two sons, Brady and Ian, are River Valley students.
